IBPS PO Mains Result 2018
The result of IBPS PO Mains 2018 has been announced. The second stage of the selection process is the Mains exam. Mains exam comprises of 200 marks for objective questions and 50 marks for English Writing. On basis of performance in Main Exam, candidates will be shortlisted for interview. Step 2 – Login
Now you have to enter (a) either registration number or roll number, and (b) either password or date of birth. Then click ‘Login’ button.
Step 3 – Check IBPS PO Result 2018, Cut Off, Score
If result status is out, then you can see whether you have qualified or not. If score are published then you can see marks and cut off.

Candidates are shortlisted for Mains exam on basis of result of IBPS PO preliminary exam. Marks obtained in preliminary exam are not added for final merit list.

IBPS PO Prelims Cut Off 2018
There are sectional as well as overall cut offs in IBPS PO Preliminary Exam. The Institute will reveal IBPS PO Prelims Cut Off 2018 when scores are published. Usually scorecard / marks are published exactly 7 days after declaration of IBPS PO Result. As soon as cut off is published, it will be updated here.Until then, candidates can check past year cut offs to get an idea.
Trends in IBPS PO Cut Off – Both IBPS PO and SBI PO prelims have sectional cut offs. The usual trend is that sectional cut off is very less and mostly candidates clear them, unless they were weak in a particular section.
IBPS PO 2018 Expected Cut Off – For the first time, sectional timing was introduced in IBPS Probationary Officer / Management Trainee preliminary exam. Although the time allotted was comfortable for most, however any change is a bit tiresome for many. This may impact the cut offs. Last year, the cut off dropped quite a bit, however this may not happen again this year. It is expected that cut off will be similar to that of last year.

Normalization of marks
Marks are normalized using equi-percentile method. Corrected scores are used for the purpose of shortlisting. Also, scores are rounded off to 2 decimal points.
IBPS PO /MT CRP VIII 2018 Provisional Allotment 2019
Provisional Allotment of IBPS PO 2018-2019 will be announced in April 2019.
Candidates who get shortlisted for interviews have to attend the same organized by participating organizations. Total marks in interview are 100.Minimum qualifying marks in interview shall not be below 40% (35% for SC / ST / OBC / PWD).
Weightage ratio of IBPS PO 2018 Main Exam and Interview shall be 80:20. Combined final score will take marks of both Mains and Interview into consideration.
IBPS PO /MT CRP VIII 2018 Provisional Allotment 2019 shall be done on basis of merit-cum-preference.
Tie Breaking
- If two or more candidates have same score then merit is determined on basis of date of birth – older candidate gets higher merit.

There will be a reserve list containing number of candidates equal to around 10% of the number of vacancies. If the participating organizations create more vacancies during April 2019 – March 2020, then candidates from reserve list will get a chance for provisional allotment.
